GM marketing & communications Vanessa Winning for DairyNZ caught up with The Country Early Edition's Rowena Duncum for a chat about what she calls "March Madness."

Winning says there are a range of industry events coming up in March and DairyNZ will be involved in many of them.

The Northland and Central Districts Field Days are on and DairyNZ will be there showcasing the work of dairy farmers. There will be teams on site displaying sustainable dairy practices and giving advice on current farming issues ranging from biosecurity practices to rampant autumn grass growth.

Winning says these events are a great opportunity for farmers to get off the farm, to get networking with other farmers and accessing resources and info to set them up for the next dairy season.
