Craig 'Wiggy' Wiggins chats to The Country's Jamie Mackay about the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Competition Grand Final.

Wiggins is the voice behind the competition and is looking forward to another Grand Final.

Mackay can't make it as his sidekick Dom has selfishly decided to take time off for the first time in about ten years. Nice one Dom.

There's a lot on including quizzes, opening ceremonies and practical days and this is all before the awards ceremony on Saturday night.

It's a big week and Timaru needs to prepare for an influx of young farmers!

Mackay opens a can of worms by suggesting the event should be televised.

This is a topic close to Craig Wiggins's heart. He also wants coverage of the Young Farmers awards on television and worries that things are getting too urban on our screens.

Sounds like there's is no chance of anything being too urban in Timaru this week!
