Consumers are warned to expect another round of dairy product price rises.
Hours after Fonterra announced a record forecast payout to its farmers of $7.90 a kg of milk solids, an increase of 60c since April, the head of its consumer brands business said prices were beingreviewed and could increase within six weeks.
Any increase would affect common brands Mainland, Anchor, Tip Top and Fresh'n Fruity.
It would also affect prices charged by competing companies.
