Leanne Warr is Editor of the Bush Telegraph.

Leanne Warr has been a journalist since 1996 when she joined the Levin Chronicle, becoming the first reporter for the Kāpiti News in 1997. She rejoined NZME in 2021, working as the Dannevirke reporter for Hawke’s Bay Today before taking on the role as editor of the Bush Telegraph. Leanne has also written several novels (under a pseudonym) and two non-fiction books. She has a Bachelor of Arts (English and history), a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Journalism) and Graduate Diploma in Arts (Psychology).
