New Zealand's primary sector is currently experiencing a "sweet spot" according to some rural business commentators. Labour's Primary Industry spokesman Damien O'Connor disagrees.
O'Connor told The Country host Jamie Mackay today that he sounded like "all those other National party rural commentators and journalists out there talking up their mates", and that "things aren't all good out in the rural areas".
Damien goes on to say change will come through Labour-voting "visionary farmers" who realise all the tough agricultural decisions of the past have been made by his party.
Jamie and Damien also talk whether disgruntled National voters will go for Labour or Winston Peters, Westland Milk Products and Jeremy Corbyn's chances in the UK election.
