Duncan Garner is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster who now hosts the Editor in Chief live podcast.
Duncan Garner has been a contributing opinion writer for the NZ Listener since 2022 and currently hosts and produces his daily podcast from the Mediaworks studios called, Duncan Garner Editor in Chief LIVE which as the name suggests is a live daily podcast at 7pm. Before then Duncan hosted Today FM's morning talk show, he spent 5 years as host of TV3s The AM Show and before then he hosted the Drive Show on RadioLIVE. He is most proud though of his ability to escape from Parliament's Press Gallery after 17 years - whereas a 21 year old he covered his first MMP election. He has also written widely for a number of publications and still considers it a privilege to be in the industry he loves, which has taken him to some 90 countries. He's a fiercely proud Kiwi who loves the outdoors, fishing and hunting and believes being in the wilderness is the greatest medicine you can give anyone.
