Trade Me bids for a Rotorua woman's M&M that resembled a breast have reached more than $50.

Kim Swettenham listed the unusually shaped chocolate this week and all money raised will go to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

The auction will close on Monday and has had more than 7500 views.

The administration assistant at Rotorua Intermediate School was chomping through the bag when she spotted one that resembled a part of a female's anatomy.

"I thought straight away it looked like a boob. If you turn it on its side, it could look like a chicken's beak but, if you look closely, it has an areola on it as well."

The 27-year-old drew a picture to accompany the M&M as a laugh to show her friend but has now decided to sell the anomaly on Trade Me. The money raised will go to a fitting charity - breast cancer awareness.

"Well it looks like a boob so I wasn't really going to be supporting SPCA with it," she said.

"I've had one question asked about who it was modelled on and whether this was a sign of God.

I said, 'Holly from Geordie Shore but it could also be Victoria Beckham ... and this is most definitely a message from God'."
