Missing Alzheimer's sufferer found

A 75-year-old Auckland woman with Alzheimer's disease who went missing from her home overnight has been found.

Seini Weatherall was found in inner city Auckland this morning and her condition was currently being assessed, police said.

Ms Weatherall, who is part Fijian and part Tongan, left her Mt Eden homer during the night. Police and family feared for her safety, given her medical condition, age, and exposure to the elements.
