It will be blooming lovely at the Wanganui City College hall tomorrow.

The annual Autumn Flower Show will see masses of flowers and horticultural exhibits filling up the building.

The show is run by the Wanganui Chrysanthemum Club and the Horticultural Society and although it's been a "very tough year" for growing, standards will be as high as ever, says Margaret Gibbard, one of the organisers.

There will be more than 150 entries of all types of flowers plus floral art competition pieces. "With categories like tricky triangles, sticks and stacks, and cool circles they will be interesting" she said.

Flower and produce growers from centres including Palmerston North, Levin and Rotorua as well as Wanganui will be taking part in show.

The public can view the flowers and produce, buy a few or browse the other stalls from 1.30pm to 5pm tomorrow and from 10am to 4pm Sunday.
