General admission tickets to the three Rugby World Cup games in Rotorua go on sale in less than a week.
Tickets for each match at Rotorua International Stadium cost $31 for adults and $15 for children plus a booking fee. The matches are Fiji vs Namibia on September 10, Samoa
vs Namibia on September 14 and Ireland vs Russia on September 25.
Rotorua residents can head along to the Rotorua Convention Centre from 9am on Monday, July 4, to buy tickets. They will also be available via Ticketek's website, www.ticketek.co.nz, from that day.
General manager of events and venues Rotorua Peter McLeod said he expected a lot of demand for general admission tickets, which were for seating on the terraces and grass banks. The stand was for those with reserved tickets.
He said a constant stream of people had been asking at the convention centre office when they would be able to buy general admission tickets. However, he did not think there would be a rush on Monday.
