Car engulfed in flames in Fordlands

A car has been found engulfed in flames in Fordlands.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said the car was found well-involved in flames on Ford Rd about 9.25pm yesterday.

There was no damage to any surrounding properties and there were no injuries, he said.

The fire was being treated as suspicious and police were investigating, he said.
