Car v. rubbish truck on Sunset Rd, one injured (+video)

UPDATE:
A woman with minor injuries has been treated by ambulance staff at the scene of a crash between a car and a rubbish truck.

A police spokeswoman said the cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

EARLIER:

A car and rubbish truck have crashed at the intersection of Sunset and Wrigley Rd, moderately injuring one woman.

The crash has blocked one lane of the road and is causing major traffic build up in the area.

A reporter at the scene said a local resident and cyclist controlling the traffic until police showed up.

She said there was one ambulance and one police car at the scene.

"The car is very damaged and is currently blocking one lane."

A police spokeswoman said she did not know whether the patient has been taken to hospital.
