Napier and Tukituki voters can check on whether they are enrolled for this year's general election.
Registrar of electors in Hawke's Bay, Fiona Ratapu-Rodden, said the new electoral rolls had just been delivered to local PostShops and libraries.
They were also available at courthouses and at KiwiBanks for people to check their details.
"We estimate that 2517 or 5.5 percent in the Napier electorate and 2572 or five percent in the Tukituki electorate of local people who are eligible still need to enrol," she said.
There are an estimated 48,100 eligible voters in Napier, with 45,583 enrolled, and an estimated 51,200 eligible in Tukituki and 48,628 enrolled.
People wanting to register for a vote can arrange for an enrolment form to be sent to them by phoning 0800 36 76 56, freetexting their name and address to 3676, visiting a PostShop or going online to www.elections.org.nz
Enrolment details can also be checked online.
