A new way to harness internet people-power was launched in Hawke's Bay today.
GrabOne is an internet site that offers 50 to 90 per cent discounts on products and services, but only if enough people sign up to make the discounts feasible.

coupon is emailed and, by printing it and presenting it, the deal is yours.
For example, an airline wishes to offer a one-off flight to an event in Sydney. The trip is proposed, people sign up with their billing details, and when the required numbers are reached, it happens.

Today's deal in Hawke's Bay is a $4 movie ticket to Reading Cinemas in Napier or Hastings, a 73 per cent discount.
The website is owned by media company APN and creator Shane Bradley.
