Ahuriri Estuary Protection Society launch book

The Ahuriri Estuary Protection Society will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of a book tonight.
The book, simply titled with the name of the society, has been researched and written by Hawke's Bay writer Rose Harding and will be launched at Conservation House in Napier.
Since 1981 the society had grown in membership and had formed a close alliance with the Department of Conservation and other environmental groups.
It was formed as a "watchdog" for the Ahuriri estuary area, looking after it and educating the public on its wildlife and environmental values.
