LeaderBrand is a large scale, vertically integrated horticultural business that grows, packs
and distributes a range of fresh vegetables, salads and process vegetables for domestic and international customers.
Due to business growth, commissioning of new plant and equipment, plus the introduction of new business systems, the company now wishes to appoint two new people to the Gisborne based Finance team.
Financial Controller - Gisborne
This key senior role reports to the CFO and oversees the whole Finance & Administration team. You will have 8+ years' experience in a commercial primary industry environment. Expect yourcareer to advance over time within the Company.
Senior Management Accountant - Gisborne
You will directly lead seven people within the Finance & Administration team, plus assist theFinancial Controller with the oversight of the Company's financial functions.
You will have 5+ years' experience in a commercial primary industry environment.
Both roles require the following competencies:
• An in depth understanding of the primary industry
• Extensive exposure to ERP systems and Business Intelligence software
• Commercial experience, CA or CPA qualification required
•A focus on continuous improvement
• Sound people leadership and teamwork skills
