The work of some of New Zealand's top professional photographers will go on display at The National Bank in Mount Maunganui tomorrow.
The exhibition will showcase more than 150 award-winning images from the Epson/NZIPP Iris Professional Photography Awards, held at the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel in August.
The images are those that
stood out among the record number entered in the awards by nearly 300 professional photographers from around New Zealand, Australia and by students from tertiary institutions throughout the country.
A panel of highly qualified judges and experts from overseas selected the work which will be on display from a number of categories including commercial, creative, editorial, landscape, people, weddings and student/assistant.
The exhibition will include the work of Tauranga's own success story, Sarah Beaufoy, who won the coveted Wedding Photographer of the Year title after only one season shooting weddings.
The exhibition will tour the North Island while a touring print exhibition will simultaneously tour around the South Island.
The exhibition can be viewed at The National Bank, 110 Maunganui Rd from tomorrow to December 5 during banking hours.
