Dan Carter kicked a clutch conversion overnight to send his Racing 92 side into the final of the French top 14.

Racing's emerged with a 34-33 extra time win over Clermont, after the scores were level 27-all at the end of 80 minutes.

Argentina winger Juan Imhoff dotted down to give the former All Blacks first five a chance to slot the match-winner, which he duly did.

Fellow former All Black Joe Rokocoko scored a second half try for the side.

Racing will play either Toulon or Montpellier in the final.
