He's moved in to his fancy new office, but Rotorua MP Todd McClay does not want to spend too much time there.
Instead of being hidden away behind closed doors, he wants to continue to be seen out in the community - and see the community groups using his office.
The new office, on the corner of Ranolf and Amohau streets, will be available to community groups to use for meetings as part of his way of giving back.
Mr McClay said after seven years at his previous office, further down Amohau St, he was pleased to have moved into the larger space, which also had better parking.
His office was officially opened by Minister of Finance Bill English yesterday, who spoke of the importance of the local MP.
