Traffic at Old Taupo and Malfroy Rd is being directed by a police officer as Rotoura Lakes Council contractors work to fix a malfunction with the traffic lights. Photo/Ben Fraser

Traffic lights are still out at Old Taupo and Malfroy Rds.

A police officer was standing in the middle of the intersection this morning directing traffic.

A Rotorua Lakes Council spokesperson said there has been a malfunction this morning and a contractor is currently at the site to fix the issue.
