Rotorua's favourite duo, Chelsea Marriner and her dog Quest are on "top of the world" despite missing out on winning New Zealand's Got Talent.
The dynamic duo were in the final eight of the Prime TV show but even though they missed out on the top prize of
$100,000 they are still "on a high".
When spoken to by The Daily Post this morning, Chelsea, 17, said she was "still excited" about the whole experience.
"It has been an awesome journey, and the final last night was a great end to it."
She said she wasn't really nervous about being in the final.
"I was stoked to make it into the final. I didn't really think I would win but you got to go along for the ride."
As a treat, Quest was bought a new collar and lead. "I thought he deserved it," Chelsea said.
Even though the show has finished, Chelsea and Quest will remain in Auckland for a few weeks.
"I have got a couple of shows and demos coming up, but after that we will be back in Rotorua."
The show was won by dancer Chaz Cummings, 16.
