Share your favourite photos of Rotorua and you will get your very own copy of Pokarekare Ana and the chance to win heaps of great prizes.

Destination Rotorua Marketing has launched its new "Swap a Snap" promotion and social media app to encourage visitors and locals to share the moments that make Rotorua.

Consumer marketing manager Brenna Townshend said the campaign came about as a result of huge public demand for a copy of former Supergroove member Karl Steven's version of Pokarekare Ana which was recorded for the Famously Rotorua television commercials.

"With the TV commercial we wanted to show how Rotorua has grown and changed over the years - a new take on something people think they know - and our version of Pokarekare Ana fit perfectly with this," Mrs Townshend said.

"Since the release of the commercials we've been humbled by how excited our fans have been about the commercial and song and we want to give something back."

You'll also go in the draw to win prizes including gondola and luge rides, a trip to Agroventures, Ogo rides, Off Road NZ, a Kaitiaki rafting trip and the grand prize of a GoPro portable camera. The promotion runs from Monday until April 4.
