No Rotorua parent should have to hear their child speak of boredom these school holidays - especially when there is so much to do in the city.
With so much on offer during the next two weeks, school kids can pick and choose their activities almost every day.
Number one on the list of "Top Ten Things To Do These Holidays" is to be a tourist for the day.
Skyline Rotorua's catch-cry for their luge ride is "Once is Never Enough".
According to Skyline sales and marketing manager David Blackmore, that pretty much sums it up. "I'm sure there are youngsters here who have not been on the luge just as I'm sure there are youngsters who would love to have a another go. We have three tracks of varying levels and proudly boast Skyline Luge is a world first, designed and built in Rotorua."
Rotorua District Council Green Team Holiday Programme, based at the Aquatic Centre, has a raft of activities on offer. From an "amazing race" to a baking day, there's something for everyone.
Two camps are being run through the Lakes Ranch, the first for ages 12 and above and the second for those 12 and under. The Ranch offers a range of riding opportunities from trotting to trekking. Previous riding experience is not necessary.
For something a little less physical, check out what's on at the movies. Reading Cinema Complex manager Adam Morrison said he was expecting the animated movie Rio to be popular, along with Justin Bieber's Never Say Never.
Youngsters with energy to burn can head to the lakes, parks and reserves on foot and on bikes.
The Rotorua Public Library is having a Spook-tacular school holiday programme for children under 12 plus a teen talent quest.
Easter Sunday brings The Great Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt to Rainbow Springs. From 10am to 3pm you can grab an Easter Egg Hunt activity sheet from Customer Services, find all the answers in the park and win an Easter treat from Cadbury. There are also activities on at the Rotorua Arts Village, including face-painting, collage and clay moulding workshops. And don't forget the Ngongotaha Trout Festival 2011, from April 22 to 24 and featuring music, fishing, competitions, stalls and prizes.

Take in a Movie. The weather won't always be fine so when the rain comes why not head to Reading Cinemas in Rotorua and see what kids movie is on offer - or head to the DVD store and watch a movie at home with some treats.
Get physical. Rotorua is home to world-class mountainbike trails, beautiful lakes and amazing scenery. Why not enjoy a walk, run, swim or mountainbike in the city?
