Air we go!: Thousands of people flocked to Rotorua Airport on Saturday for the New Zealand Warbirds Association show. <

> Vintage aircraft of all kinds put on displays, including the Amphibious Catalina Flying Boat and the Harvard Aerobatics team.<

> Airport manager Matt Clarke said up to 7000 people attended the free open day, taking part in helicopter joyrides and scenic flights, while hordes of children had fun on the inflatable Mission Impossible Obstacle Course. <

> It is hoped the event will be held annually, although Mr Clarke said he was not sure whether it would remain free to the public.
