Food and drink lovers are set to have their taste buds titillated next month, as a huge variety of Hawke's Bay fruit, oils, beers, produce and wines will be up for tasting.
The Gourmet Experience has been organised by the Taradale Rotary Club, and will be held at the Pettigrew-Green Arena
on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30.
There will be plenty to sample, with 60 exhibitors displaying and selling a huge variety of produce, along with food preparation and cooking demonstrations, as well as wine and olive oil tasting.
The venue will include a food hall where visitors can sit and enjoy the various produce. A prizegiving event will be held on Sunday with live jazz music at the Soiree from 3pm until 5pm.
Up to 10,000 people from all over Hawke's Bay are expected to converge on the event.
This is the Rotary Club of Taradale's main fundraising event of the year, and there will be overhead video projections.
The Gourmet Experience will run from 9.30am until 5pm on both days.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and $25 for families.
