After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, Kirsty Webb, a mother of two, passed away yesterday.
Family and friends were by the 45-year-old's side from her diagnosis in 2012 right to the end, with Givealittle pages, fundraising evenings and Pink High Teas.
In July 2012 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and, following a nine-and-a-half hour surgery and six rounds of chemotherapy, doctors told her in January 2014 the stage four breast cancer had metastasised to her bones, including hips, legs, knees and crucially her spine.
Ms Webb took three trips to Germany for radical treatment, where she received rounds of full body hypothermia, and low-dose chemotherapy.
She defied the odds of the oncologists seeing her children open their presents on Christmas Day after being told she had six months to live earlier last year.
