Crash closes SH2 south of Gisborne

THE main road south out of Gisborne was closed because of a crash but has now reopened.

State Highway 2 was closed near Devils Elbow, at 11.39am. No detour was available.

The NZTA updated its website at 2.33pm, saying it was still closed and did not have an expected resolution time.

It is now open.
