A feisty Christchurch woman has confronted a burglar moments after he broke into her house, catching the encounter on film.
"Drop my stuff and I'll not tell the police," the woman yells at the man out her car window.
Clutching her stolen gear, the man denies breaking into her property before dropping the loot and apologising.

The woman, identified as Marney, was driving in Avonhead on Friday with her two young children when she spotted the burglar, who had just exited her house, Fairfax reported.
"I didn't know what to do so I just started filming him," she said.
She yelled at him to drop her gear, telling him if he did so she would not call police and that she was filming him.
The man, who was carrying her camera and laptop, initially denied breaking into her house before dropped the bags and apologising.
"I'm sorry. I've left everything behind. Please forgive us."
He then drove off.
Police told Fairfax they were making inquiries.
"Although members of the public are not encouraged to approach offenders, in this instance, the footage captured by Marney will be valuable to the investigating team."
