Whanganui's Masonic Court Home for the Elderly has a shelf of larger-than-life red poppies in its foyer to mark Anzac Day.
The poppies are made of old vinyl LP records, shaped by the home's recreation officer Tina Wright, with help from residents. Wright and her husband Barry have the vinyl
art stall at the Whanganui River Markets on Saturdays.
Each of the poppies was then painted red by the residents, and they were added to posters and flags for the display.
