Rangitauira Hoani Nahona should be able to "get off the treadmill" after appearing in Whanganui District Court last week.
He pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified for a third or subsequent time but has managed to get his restricted licence and has done 97 hours of community work.
He was
sentenced to a further 80 hours of community work but not again disqualified from driving.
"We have got to stop this treadmill", Judge Dugald Matheson said.
Meanwhile, Tangata Thomas-Paewai pleaded not guilty in Whanganui District Court last week to two charges of aggravated robbery. He was remanded in custody for review on February 27.
