"The times, they are a'changin'.................."
Bob Dylan's song has never been so relevant, as Whanganui Anglicans embrace change.
The good news is that St Oswald's, having stood sentinel in Westmere for 102 years, will be continuing as a unique centre of worship in the country with prayer, song, fellowship and a warm
welcome to everyone on the first Sunday of every month at 10am.
The music team will be augmented by a choir and voices of all ages will be raised in praise. Children are welcome and the church has a growing group of eager young families.
St Oswald's will remain open for the celebration of marriage and baptism, and for funeral services.
St Oswald's has always been a loving place of worship and this will continue to be so. Services always end with sharing of food, coffee and fellowship.
