Bikies and teddy bears are not your usual combination, but they will come together on Sunday for the annual Wanganui Ulysses Motorcycle Club's Toy Run.
The toy run is a toy collection for a local charity to distribute to the community.
This year, the Salvation Army has been chosen, and
will distribute the toys with their Christmas hampers to local families in need.
The toy run starts at the Wanganui Racecourse at 11.30am, so people can bring along their toys to donate and have a sausage from the sausage sizzle or drinks.
Salvation Army community ministries co-ordinator Roger Herring said they would prefer new toys, because the people who would be receiving them did not normally have new things.
