Hospice Whanganui is continually looking at ways to raise funds to meet the shortfall of funding to provide free palliative care services, says manager Sandy McDougall.
"At any given time we are caring for approximately 100 patients every day, plus providing support for their family and friends.
"We are fortunate that House of Travel along with their suppliers Air New Zealand and Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa have provided a fabulous package for Hospice Whanganui to raffle."
The winner will enjoy a trip for two to Fiji via Auckland or Wellington. They will fly Air New Zealand (the works) and have five nights in an ocean-side room, including breakfast, at the five-star Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa.
Ms McDougall said all proceeds from ticket sales would go to Hospice Whanganui.
