This wasn't the first time the club had banded together to raise money for the Cancer Society. Mr Wenmoth said they had held an "All American Day" two years ago with the same purpose and would be making the Show and Shine a regular fundraising feature.
"We would like to raise as much as we can. Last time we gave the society a cheque for $3200. Whatever we can get we will do."
And it won't just be cars from the club on show. Mr Wenmoth said they had also invited other people to bring their cars along to support the collection for the Cancer Society.
He said he thought the Show and Shine would be an insight for young people to see American cars and have a look at what cars were like in the 1950s and 1960s.
"You don't see them every day of the week driving along the streets and out and about. It's an opportunity for people to see what was in the past, some of the hot rods are even pre-1950s."
The Show and Shine will run from 10am to 1pm. Cost is a gold coin donation to the Cancer Society.
