Healthy Homes works with low-income families at risk of developing illnesses due to their housing.
Assessor Carol Fisher said the organisation worked with about 320 families a year. It worked with those with community services cards with children from 0 to 5 or unborn.
It is based out of the Western Heights Health Centre and is subsidised by the Government.
When the organisation gets referred to a family it can support them with bed and bedding, education, and more.
Fisher said bunk beds were ideal as some of the clients were short of space.
Healthy Homes funding and service co-ordinator Robyn Fisher said the organisation relied on donations like this.
"It means we can help more families," she said.
"Out busiest time of the year is winter so we're promoting awareness that we're happy for people to make contact with us in terms of seeing if they are eligible."
She said some families shared beds and Healthy Homes focused on getting every child into their own bed.
"We're a non-profit organisation and also a registered charity. Our core values are about peace and understanding different cultures and also accommodating people," he said.
Healthy Homes helps those who are eligible with beds and bedding, education, mould and dampness.
