"This is a huge honour for us competing with gyms from all around New Zealand.''
It's not like a normal gym where you pay a membership, making it easier for clients, Jane says.
"They pay by the session _ only what they use ... we have concession cards so there is no time limit. People can come when they like ... we operate by word of mouth.''
Susan, who has been a fitness instructor and nutritionist in Rotorua for many years and says she opened the city's first 24-hour gym and fitness boot camp, is a huge asset to the business, Jane says.
"She's really the face of the business. She has so much passion for and dedication for her clients and brings a huge amount of experience with her. She's amazing.''
Susan previously owned The Fitness Studio, has trained in the United States and is dedicated to those she works with.
TrueFit trainers use the Targeted Training System combining the best of personal training in a comfortable social setting. Training can be adapted to groups or individuals to ensure maximum benefit for the clients, Susan says.
From conditioning to sports, health and nutrition, these two are dedicated to their clients' success.
Susan says the face of the industry is changing and gyms need to change to meet a user's needs. They have people coming in aged from as young as 15 to as old as 72.
"I believe in serving my clients well ... we have people of all ages and sizes working out side by side.''
She's also dedicated to ensuring young rising sporting stars exercise properly.
"We run super energy session ... we empower people.''
The winners of the New Zealand Fitness Awards will be announced at a special function being held in Auckland on November 24. Meanwhile, the pair is waiting for a mystery shopper from the awards to anonymously judge them.
"This is such an achievement for us just to be named finalists,'' Jane says.
