Man accused of sideline assault in court

A Rotorua sales manager accused of assaulting an assistant coach at a Rotorua rugby match has made another appearance in court.
Lee Shaun Uerata, 39, appeared before the registrar in the Rotorua District Court on Thursday charged with assaulting the coach on April 2 at the Whakarewarewa Rugby Community Sports Club's grounds.
Uerata has not entered a plea to the charge and was remanded on bail to appear in court
on May 24 for a status hearing.
