Ka mate, ka mate, ka ora, ka ora

More than 450 men gathered at Rotorua's Village Green to perform a haka to promote fatherhood at the weekend.
Saturday's haka was part of a Destiny New Zealand hui held at Ohinemutu's Tamatekapua meeting house.
The hui introduced four candidates who could be contesting the Waiariki and Rotorua seats in this year's general election.
Destiny New Zealand is the political wing of the Destiny Church.
Men from as far away as Kaitaia and Nelson took part in the massive display, said Waiariki candidate Hawea Vercoe.
"It was about empowering families and the haka is part of being a Maori man. We believe it is something really good for our young children to see," he said.
The selection process for the seats will continue until March 5, when the successful candidates will be announced.
