Police are investigating the theft of a large amount of horse riding equipment stolen from an address in the Hannahs Bay area.

The theft took place sometime between the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20 and the afternoon of Wednesday, October 21.

In a statement police said prescription medication was among the stolen items - medication which could have dangerous, even fatal, consequences if not appropriately administered.

The Hypnovel, a form of Midazolam is stored in vials, and police have serious concerns for the person who has this medication, or anyone it is passed to.

Police want to hear from anyone with information that will assist in recovering the stolen property and medication and are interested in any unusual sales of horse riding equipment.
