There will be an emergency power outage for all Galatea substation customers tomorrow.

The outage will start at 1pm effecting Galatea, Murupara, Minginui, Ruatahuna, and all surrounding areas.

The power will be restored by 2pm.

Horizon Energy has identified an issue on the 11kV switchboard which if left unattended may lead to an extended unplanned outage.

Horizon Energy wishes to thank customers for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
