Weekender delivery
This week's Rotorua Weekender is in letterboxes today. We share a Rotorua family's battle against a debilitating illness as Rotorua's @Heart organisation holds a fundraising event this weekend. We introduce readers to a local rapper and a man saved by the BayTrust rescue helicopter after having a heart attack. Relationship counsellor Colleen Mullin answers a problem and you can find out about what is on around the city this weekend.
Pink support
Today is Anti-Bullying Day and to show your support wear something pink. Bullying is a serious community issue and can lead to low self-confidence, depression and anti-social behaviour. It affects people in all walks of life and happens at school, via text and on the internet. Show you care for those victims by putting on something pink.

Rotorua/Taupo provincial president Neil Heather said Mr Wills' appointment ensured a strong leadership succession plan for the province. Mr Heather said Mr Wills was a very capable dairy farmer who brought a new dimension to the provincial executive.
