Rotorua's Steven Adams continues to win high praise as he helped his Oaklaholma Thunder NBA team claim victory in the second game of the semi-finals series.
Adams is being described as a "standout" in today's game against Los Angeles Clippers as Thunder won 112-101.
The 20-year-old grabbed five rebounds and scoring six points which included a dunk through traffic while keeping Clippers star player Blake Griffin to a quiet 15 points.
"I think Adams is terrific, his demeanor is fantastic," former Chicago Bulls guard now television commentator Steve Kerr told reporters.
"The way he plays you wanna get under an opponent's skin, when you do so without responding yourself, you're usually gonna win the battle."
"If I'm Doc Rivers [Clippers coach], I've already had a chat to Blake Griffin," Kerr said.
"Do not let Steven Adams incite you into anything that might affect the next game."
