The Arawa Bowling Club will be holding an inaugural Beetle Drive evening tomorrow.
The event will feature the Beetle Drive competition alongside a shared supper.
Beetle Drive is a game that consists of the roll of a die. Each number on the die represents one of 14 beetle parts and the first
one to draw a full beetle wins.
Event co-ordinator Gillian Lamprey said she played the game in England as a child alongside her mother and thought it would be a fun game to share with others.
"I was only 7 when I first played the game and I always had so much fun," she said.
"Anybody can come along for a fun night out, you don't need to have excellent artistic skills, just a good sense of humour."
The event will cost $5 per person and will run from 6pm to 9pm at the Arawa Bowling Club on 64 Lytton Street.
Registrations close tomorrow midday.
For more information, contact Gillian Lamprey on (07) 3471376.
