How would you feel if you thought you'd won $5000, then found out you'd won 20 times more?
That's exactly what happened during Labour Weekend to one lucky customer at the Taradale Lotto & Superette.
Having bought a $5 crossword scratchie the woman, a regular customer, left the shop and went to have a cup of coffee with her husband.
When the prize was revealed he mistakenly told her that she had won $5000, Taradale Lotto & Superette owner Trevor Sayers said.
Upon being told she had won $100,000 when she returned to the shop, the woman was flabbergasted.
"She said, 'I've got to go outside and get my husband'," Mr Sayers said, clearly revelling in another major win for his outlet, which is the second luckiest in the Bay.
The shop has sold four Lotto second-division winners this year, having previously sold nine first division winners.
Winner feels 20 times luckier with $100,000
