Police release name of single-vehicle crash victim

The man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday has been identified as Quentin Robert Terure.

The 30-year-old, from Napier crashed his Holden Commodore into the Manga-O-Nuku No.3 Bridge on SH50 at Tikokino, near Hastings, about 1.20am.

Emergency services spent hours at the scene.

In a statement, police said the investigation into the crash is continuing.

"Police extend their sympathies to Mr Terure's family and friends at this difficult times."
