The Mohaka Bridge project is one of 21 sections of work being carried out for the New Zealand Transport Agency in Hawke's Bay.
Speed restrictions, stop/go signalling and one-lane reductions are in place at most of the works, although delays are not expected to be more than five minutes.
Napier to Hastings (urban) intersection reconstruction, Lever St/Bridge St (SH50);
Roundabout/rail reconstruction, Pandora Rd (SH2)/Hyderabad Rd (SH50).
Napier-Wairoa SH2: Drop-out repairs, Waikoau Hill just south of Lake Tutira; Pavement repairs, north of Kotemaori; Curve improvement, Pampas Station, south of Kotemaori.
Napier-Takapau SH2: Intersection upgrade, Station Road, Whakatu; Passing lane construction, south of Te Mahanga Road; Resurfacing of intersection, Racecourse Road, Waipukurau; Bridge maintenance, joint renewal,Waipawa Bridge.
Napier To Taupo SH5: Nunneries dropout (flood damage), between Tarawera Tavern and Waipunga bridges; Pavement repairs, Tarawera, Te Haroto and Te Pohue areas; Mohaka Bridge maintenance work; Seal widening, north of Glengarry Hill Passing Lane.
Wairoa to Waikaremoana SH38: Bridge replacement project, Mangakino Stream Bridge, west of Ruapapa Road; Dropout repairs, Jessops (40km north of Wairoa): DoC power cable installation, Waikaremoana (near lake); Intersection upgrade, Rangiahua Road.
Napier to Takapau SH50: Relocation and installation of overhead power cables, Ongaonga south to Wakarara Rd; Pavement repairs, north of Fernhill (Crossroads Winery).
Expressway: Links Rd - Pakipaki, SH50A: Cross country culvert upgrade, Maraekakaho Road.
Expressway: Airport - Links Rd, pavement repair, north of Hawke's Bay Airport.
