Newstalk ZB will be available on FM in Hawke's Bay on 90.3FM from next Wednesday.
"A large part of the listening audience never think to visit the AM dial, this change will open up our Newstalk ZB content to an even wider audience," said Rebecca Johnson, Hawke's Bay general manager for
The Radio Network.
"Now we will also have clearer reception throughout Hawke's Bay. I'm very pleased that we have been able to enhance the listening experience for Newstalk ZB listeners by making this change.
"We will continue to offer programming on both the new 90.3FM and the existing 1278AM frequency".
In making the change, Easy Mix, the station now heard on 90.3FM, will cease broadcasting and will be available to listen to through live streaming online at website easymix.co.nz.
