Girl stuck in park swing for 40 minutes

A 9-year-old girl found herself "wedged" for more than 40 minutes after climbing into a toddler swing at St Leonards Park, Hastings, and getting stuck.
"It was one of those swings with a moulded seat and leg holes," Hastings senior station officer Dennis O'Leary said. "Two women had been trying to get her out for 40 minutes before they called us.
"We took the swing to Hastings District Council and they are going to replace it with one that has a chain across the front, so there is no danger of this happening again."
