Hawke's Bay children are going ape.
Television and recording sensation the Funky Monkeys are performing at 3pm on Saturday, at the Hastings Sports Centre, on Railway Rd.
The show, which is on the first day of the school holidays, is a fundraiser for Mahora Kindergarten.
The musical act for children encourages them to
sing, dance, clap and laugh along with Joe, Neil and Chris and their trusty friend Dizzy Dog.
Hawke's Bay Today can confirm that classic Funky Monkey hits such as Bubbles and Apples, Oranges, Bananas will be sung.
The performance will be about 60 minutes long and is suitable for children from 2 to 8. Tickets, $10 each, with babies free, are available from Denton Wyatt Bookstore, Heretaunga St East, Hastings; Janeff Books, Te Mata Rd, Havelock North and Scrapbook Corner, Trinity Crescent, Pirimai, Napier.
