Mountain Valley Adventure Lodge and Camping Ground is situated on 120ha with 3km of Mohaka River frontage, providing the perfect family getaway.
Owners Doug and Julie Batt bought the property seven years ago, with the aim of "enriching the lives of all our guests".
"As a rural retreat, Mountain ValleyAdventure Lodge and Camping Ground offers a real opportunity to reconnect with the natural world. We are surrounded by the legendary mountains of the Kawekas.
"The Mohaka River is classified as one of only two remaining 'wild and scenic' watercourses on the North Island, and is a mecca for our river pursuits," Mrs Batt said.
Mountain Valley caters for all types of people, with a range of accommodation to suit every need including powered and non-powered camping sites, bunkhouses, lodge rooms, chalets and self-contained cottages, as well as an on-site bar and restaurant situated in the central lodge overlooking the river.
Activities range from archery, paintball, claybird shooting, rafting down the Mohaka river, horse trekking, as well as plenty of terrain to explore.
Those with a thirst for adventure can even attempt a multi-day rafting expedition. Not far from the property, guests can visit the Te Pohue golf course and the Trelinnoe Park.
"We believe that the main benefits to staying at Mountain Valley are the location, the size of the property and the outstanding facilities available to every guest," Mrs Batt said.
